Eric founded EMS Electric 17 years ago with one pickup truck. Under his leadership, the business has grown to become one of the most relied upon electrical contractors in the region. Eric’s experience in the electrical field began with a five-year NJATC apprenticeship in 1999. In 2004, Eric was named the outstanding apprentice of the year by the Monroe JATC program, and he was selected to compete in the statewide training competition. As Eric puts it, he “likes the hard stuff.” That dedication translates to assuring each customer is satisfied and the work performed by EMS Electric is performed safely and completed to the highest quality. Eric is an avid hunter and fisherman. His favorite pastimes include spending time with family at their hunting camp and watching his youngest son play high school baseball.
Casey has been with EMS Electric since the business was formed 17 years ago. As Vice President, Casey wears many hats that stretch from his role as a leader and a partner in the business to estimator and project manager. Casey enjoys meeting new people, and no matter the task, Casey is committed to ensuring customer needs are being met. Casey has five years of electrical experience prior to joining EMS Electric and completed the NJACT Apprenticeship Program. When Casey takes time off from the office, he enjoys spending quality time with family enjoying the outdoors and family sports.
Marvin’s 36 years of experience in the industrial electrical field makes him an asset to the EMS Electric team and our customers. As the Senior Project Manager for our Industrial Division, Marvin oversees estimating projects, ensures a safe work environment for employees and develops and maintains relationships with clients and employees. Marvin enjoys being a part of a team that is focused on providing the best solution and resolving issues to ensure clients are satisfied. Marvin’s hobbies include building classic cars, riding motorcycles, experiencing the outdoors and enjoying time with his family.
Dustin has been a valued member of the EMS Electric team for 16 years. Dustin started with EMS working as an apprentice for two years and then a journeyman for eight years. Dustin completed an NECA/IBEW apprenticeship. Those 10 years of hands-on experience aid Dustin in knowing the challenges of each project and being able to troubleshoot issues. In his role as an estimator and project manager, Dustin also works to assist in control system troubleshooting and generator installation and service.
Josh has six years of experience with EMS Electric as an estimator and project manager. With a passion for problem solving, Josh enjoys diving into the fine details of each project to provide the most accurate estimate on the front end. Throughout a project, he coordinates each detail to keep the project on track, meet critical timelines and communicate with customers. Josh has 17 years of experience in the electrical industry that helps him understand a customer’s needs and provide unsurpassed customer service. Josh enjoys attending church, hunting, fishing and practicing traditional archery when he is out of the office.
With 13 years of experience in the electrical industry, Trey is relied upon to oversee jobs for EMS Electric as a general foreman. In this role, Trey closely coordinate each aspect of the project to ensure timelines are being met. That oversight includes coordinating materials, attending job meetings, assisting with change orders and aiding the foreman on the job. Prior to his beginning his career with EMS Electric more than eight years ago, Trey performed commercial, residential and industrial field installations and service work. When he’s away from the job site, Trey enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking vacations and hunting.
With nine years of experience at EMS Electric, Christy is knowledgeable of company processes and procedures and works across all departments to keep operations running smoothly. Christy is responsible for numerous accounting functions. In addition, she maintains state licenses, DOT records, employee records and coordinates safety programs and trainings among numerous other things. When Christy is away from work, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, hunting, fishing and cooking.
